PlayStations State of Play Going Down this Wednesday Night

Officially confirmed by PlayStation, we’re getting a 40-minute-long State of Play this Wednesday, the 31st of January. Or Thursday, depending on how you personally look at time.

PlayStation says they will cover over 15 games coming to the PS5 and PSVR2 over the upcoming year and beyond, including Rise of Ronin and Stellar Blade.

Before PlayStation confirmed the date, leaker Shpeshal Nick posted a cryptic tweet revealing the date and what games we can expect from the State of Play this January.

With both the date and Rise of Ronin confirmed from the post, we’re pretty confident that everything else “announced” will show up during the live-stream event.

From reading the post and a few comments below, it looks like we can expect Death Stranding 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Sonic Generations Remaster, Silent Hill 2, Until Dawn Remaster, something from the Metro franchise and Judas.

The State of Play will take place over on PlayStation’s Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube accounts at midnight on the 1st of February for us locals. That means you must stay awake all night on Wednesday to catch it.
