Sea of Stars was a hit indie game that was released near the end of last year. We at NAG loved it so much that we even added an art print of the game to our NAG Annual 2023 Special Edition, and it scored an impressive 90/100 in our review, with one of the very few negatives being “There isn’t enough of it”.
Well, in a tell-nothing post over on Twi- X, Sabotage Studios said that the DLC for Sea of Stars has “graduated from pre-production”.
It looks like Arielle’s wish for more will come true sooner than she had hoped.
Back in November the team gathered for Sabobo Summit where the DLC for Sea of Stars was pitched, along with the vision for “Game 3″👀
Work is going well with the mysterious and wacky DLC which has officially graduated from pre-production!

The post just shows a photo of one of the team members showing off their excellent charade skills, and, to Arielle’s dismay, only one person is wearing shoes; the team does reveal that the DLC will be “mysterious and wacky”.
They have also announced that work on ‘Game 3’ has begun. Suppose we have to look back at Sabotage Studios’ previous release, The Messenger, which is a very distant prequel to Sea of Stars. In that case, we can assume that Game 3 will likely be something that also takes place in the same universe.
Either way, whether you’re more excited for more Sea of Stars to swim in or a different story completely in the beautiful universe Sabotage Studios has created, it’s an exciting thing to see that things are steadily moving forward.
If you haven’t yet seen our Sea of Stars art print from the NAG Annual 2023 Special Edition, you can still pick up a copy from our online store. You have a one in four chance of getting one.
