The Borderlands meets Dragon Ball post-apocalyptic game, Sand Land just announced its official release date with an epic new trailer.
The trailer shows off a little bit of the storyline that we can expect from the game, i.e. preventing the bad guys from doing the same thing the good guys did before the world became so apocalyptic and sandy.
We also catch a glimpse of the relatively large open world you get to play around in-game, but what’s most exciting, besides the release date itself, is the vast array of vehicles we’ll be able to wreak havoc in.
From hover cars to hover tanks, mech walkers and single-wheeled gun arrays, almost any vehicle you ever imagined in the world of Dragon Ball has been put into Sand Land.
Of course, each vehicle can be kitted out with different weapons, from laser cannons to drones and everything in between and with Android 18 as the lead mechanic, you can rest assured there will be major damage.
Dragon Ball jokes aside, the game looks like a heck of a lot of fun and will be coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Steam on the 26th of April.
Pre-orders will guarantee you a few extra skins for your vehicles, while deluxe and collectors editions will include a few more extra goodies. Most notably, a Beelzebub figurine with the collector’s edition.
