Fortnite Is Getting A Lego-Themed Survival Crafting Mode

In a collaboration that wasn’t expected but is appreciated, Epic has just revealed a new Lego-themed survival crafting mode for Fortnite, which will include minifig versions of many of Fortnite’s pre-existing skins – and it arrives on the 7th of December already!

As of writing this, details on what exactly Lego Fortnite entails are sparse at best, with the Lego website (which you can find here) making it seem like a completely separate game, which you will probably access through the Fortnite launcher.

Right now, fans can view the minifig versions of skins in-game. However, none of them are usable in Fortnite’s battle royale mode.

According to the Lego site, players will learn more on the 7th of December and describes Lego Fortnite as the ultimate survival crafting adventure.

The Lego versions of the Fortnite skins are pretty damn impressive and cover over 1,200 skins already in Fortnite, with more promised to be on the way. This is a fantastic feat, especially when you consider that, as of now, Fortnite only has 1,600 skins, so almost every single one has already been Lego-ised

It’s fair to assume that after this digital collaboration, Lego fans can expect to see more physical Lego Fortnite sets hitting the shelves soon.
