Carry1st is Africa’s leading publisher of games and digital content. Its mission is to scale excellent content in frontier markets by solving complex problems.
Founded in 2018, the company is backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Bitkraft, Google, and Riot Games.
Carry1st develops, licenses, and publishes games and monetizes them effectively with Pay1st, a proprietary payments and online marketplace, the Carry1st Shop, which allows players to top-up their games using locally accessible payment methods.
The company has scaled games such as Valorant, Call of Duty: Mobile, Mine Rescue, and SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off.
What to expect from Carry1st at rAge:
Firstly, the thrilling Carry1st VALZA Cup is SA’s biggest Valorant tournament with an impressive prize pool of R150 000 in partnership with ACGL. This will be broadcast live over the weekend and feature some of Africa’s top esports players.
And secondly, Carry1st will host an activation featuring live-play, challenges and prizes for epic games such as Call of Duty Mobile, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale and Carry1st’s games such as Mancala Adventures, EverMerge, Ludo Blitz, and Africa Glam.
Visitors can look forward to collecting and completing a fun challenge that allows them to spin a giant wheel and determine their ultimate prize from a pool that includes everything from tees and caps to Carry1st gems, COD points – and a Samsung S23!
The weekend of rAge is a big moment for Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM), with the launch of the much-anticipated Season 11 and a month-long Double COD Point event. Which means, for each amount of COD Points gamers purchase, they will receive the same amount in-app.
The Carry1st Shop will also be offering an additional 20% off Cod Points from 7- 10 December.
It gets even better – this same weekend is when Season 11 of CODM launches, with many new and exciting in-game experiences and items to unlock.
