In news that I honestly wasn’t expecting to write, Nacon, the company behind the recently released Robocop: Rogue City, just went ahead and announced that the law enforcement shooter was the company’s ever launch and managed to rake in over 435,000 players and 2.7 million game sessions in its first two weeks of release.
As of writing this, the PC version of Robocop: Rogue City holds a 75 aggregate score on Metacritic, which is better than anyone expected the game to do, considering it was released just a week before Modern Warfare 3.
CEO Alan Falc of Nacon had this to say about the game:
“RoboCop: Rogue City has exceeded our expectations, and achieved a genuine feat as far as Nacon is concerned.
We are really proud to have been able to work with the studio Teyon on this game created by and for RoboCop die-hards.
We would also like to thank MGM for the trust they placed in us throughout this collaboration, as well as all the players who have contributed to making this release such a great success.”
But now we want to know whether you have picked up and tried Robocop: Rogue City yet. And if so, drop us your thoughts on the game in the comments below.
