Some of us may have misbehaved a little this year, so Santa has already put our names on the naughty list. Not such a big deal if you ask me. All I need to do is sneak into the neighbour’s house and take their presents instead. With exactly 30 days to gain sneaky, stealth-like thieving skills, what better practice could I get than playing Styx: Shards Of Darkness? Which is now free to keep forever, over on GOG.
Styx is the stealth-or-death third-person game where you play as the only goblin in the land with any form of intelligence, and what have you decided to do with this intelligence? Well, become a thief, of course.
The game strongly favours being stealthy over any other option. While you might survive a fight or two against a singular enemy, getting caught is almost certainly a death sentence. But with a skill tree so large that you’d need three or four playthroughs to try it all, there are many ways to sneak past those unsuspecting humies.
With a ‘Very Positive’ rating over on Steam, grabbing this sneaky deal could be the Black Friday special you’ve been waiting for.
If stealth games aren’t your vibe, check out the other games on special over on GOG.com. Some games are going for less than R15, and major titles like XCOM2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Cyberpunk 2077, and Divinity Original Sin 2 also see massive discounts.
