Ocarina of Time is one of the most loved Zelda games out there, and this year, it turns 25 years old.
In celebration of that, a fan has made a short Studio Ghibli-esque film showing off some of the areas in the game, most notably Castle Town.
RwanLink, the fan behind this amazing piece, says that the project took over 600 hours to complete within four months and while juggling a full-time job.
The film was made in Unreal Engine 5, yet another awesome project coming out of this cool piece of software, and so RwanLink also takes us through the film scenes from a third-person Zelda perspective.
While the short film is amazing to watch, bringing back some of the nostalgia of playing the game way back when the third-person walk-through after the film just emphasises how awesome a Ghibli-styled Zelda game would be. All we need to do now is put it out into the universe and hope that Nintendo thinks it’s as good an idea as we do.
Don’t forget, though, that Nintendo is actually working on a live-action Zelda film, and hopefully, it turns out better than what we’re expecting.
