Ah, can you hear that? Jingle Bells is playing in all the stores, and black baubles are hanging from the trees. Yes, I’m talking about Black Friday, or what has now just turned into a whole month of deals, steals and spending all your money.
PlayStation have announced that they’re on board this November, and starting from the 17th, we’ll start to see all the deals on hardware, games and PS Plus that they have on offer.
Currently, the Black Friday web page tells us to come back later, obviously because it’s not yet the 17th of November, but from the announcement over on the PlayStation blog, here are some of the deals we can look forward to.
Gamers who are looking to join PlayStation Plus can look forward to a 30% discount on the PS Plus 12-month plans. Current users can upgrade to PS Plus Extra for 25% off or 30% off if they upgrade to PS Plus Premium or Deluxe.
During PlayStation’s Black Friday promotion from November 17 – 27, players who join PlayStation Plus can save up to 30% on 12-month membership plans. Current PlayStation Plus members can save 25% when upgrading a current plan to PlayStation Plus Extra, or save 30% when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe.
Sadly, it doesn’t sound like current members will be able to re-subscribe for a discounted price, but I’m hoping that by the time Black Friday shows up, things will be a little different.
The PlayStation Store will also have both PS5 and PS4 titles on sale. Some of the teased titles include EA Sports FC 24, NBA 2K24 and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
