One of the highest-rated games, Baldur’s Gate 3, has been played, replayed, outplayed and even shelved already, but some gamers out there are still waiting for it to be released.
Xbox gamers are still sitting on their couches watching YouTube videos of the game, imagining a time when they’ll finally be able to play Baldur’s Gate 3, and as time slowly moves towards the end of the year, some fans out there were beginning to worry the planned 2023 release for the game on Xbox Series X|S may not be met.
That was until a post by Larian Studios CEO was made to relieve those worries.
Latest on the Xbox – being actively playtested, still on schedule for this year. We’ll announce the exact release date when we’re sure it’s done.

While the post doesn’t explicitly give us an actual release date, it does say that the release is still on schedule to be released this year.
Hopefully, the hype hasn’t completely died out before the game finally releases on Xbox, but I’m sure that a game this highly rated will be a great play no matter when you get the chance to play it.
