Attention all dungeon masters: the upcoming Dungeons and Dragons book, The Deck of Many Things core rulebook, has been delayed.
The delay is due to a string of regrettable bad luck (read poor manufacturing) that has caused the official Dungeons and Dragons Twitter account to come out with a statement:

Those wanting to get their hands on The Deck of Many Things core rulebook and don’t have time for delays can still pick up the digital copy, which isn’t affected by the manufacturing defects and delays.
The Deck of Many Things core rulebook will expand one of Dungeons and Dragons most iconic items, the Deck of Many Things. It will give players many new ways to liven up games.
Many of the issues come down to Hasbro’s recent shift away from using waste products, which caused some inevitable teething pains. However, Dungeons and Dragons is confident these issues will all be resolved within the rest of this year. Then, it should be smooth, environmentally friendly sailing.
