You might’ve caught a few streamers out there who were lucky enough to snag keys for the closed beta, but starting today, the rest of us plebs will finally get access to The Finals, Embark Studio’s free-to-play arena shooter.
The Finals pits teams of players against each other in a game-show-like arena where cash is king. High-paced action and satisfyingly destructible environments are what give this game its unique vibe in a host of other first-person shooter games out there.
The open beta will run until the 5th of November, and players will have access to 20 weapons, 26 gadgets, and 9 different abilities to be used during the loudest wreck-fest the entertainment world has ever seen.
Embark Studios has added a new map for the open beta called Skyway Stadium and a new game mode called Bank It!
There will also be item and character progression that can be carried over when the full game launches.
If you’re keen to participate, you can sign up for the open beta over on Steam, Xbox or PlayStation, and for those of you wondering, yes, there will be crossplay.
