Following its predecessor’s footsteps, SpiderMan 2 has become PlayStation Studios’ fastest-selling game in the first 24 hours ever.
The company announced the stats via a press release, stating that the game sold more than 2,5 million copies within the first 24 hours of its release. The 2018 release of SpiderMan sold 3,3 million copies in the first three days of its release, just beating God of War, which sold 3,1 million.
God of War Ragnarok managed to achieve 5,1 million sales in its first week last year in November. I guess we’ll just have to wait a few more days to see if SpiderMan can beat the mighty Kratos one more time.
We’re currently web-slinging, reptile-kicking and suit-swapping our way through New York as you read this, so expect to see NAGs review of SpiderMan 2 soon.
