While the Fallout series has received both absolute praise and genuine disgust, it’s still a popular enough franchise that everyone out there knows about it and has the urge to try it.
While playing the game, you come across countless stories from those that have survived, some just barely, the nuclear fallout. (The name of the game literally clicked as I wrote this sentence). Imagine a TV series of all these stories backed by the guys who made the games. Intrigued? Well, so is Amazon Prime.
Announced back in 2020, Amazon Prime said that they would start work on a TV series based on the Fallout games, but since then, we haven’t heard too much more.

That was until now.
A short teaser posted from the Fallout X account shows the date the new Fallout show will air—the 12th of April 2024. That gives us all six months to prepare ourselves to leave the vault.
Besides the newly announced date, we do know that Amazon is working with Todd Howard to try and keep that Bethesda essence in the show. The team behind Westworld will be the executive producers, and we have some pretty cool actors to boot. Walton Goggins from Justified, Kyle MacLachlan from Twin Peaks and Ella Purnell, the voice for Jinx from Arcane, will be the show’s stars.
How do you think Amazon will do with the Fallout series? Are you going to give it a watch? Let us know in the comments below.
