For those of you who would rather spend your money on a virtual reality headset rather than a table for your house, Dungeon Full Dive has heard you, bringing tabletop gaming to the virtual world with their new 3D tabletop gaming software.
While tabletop game software is nothing new, Dungeon Full Dive has added elements that will help players get more intimate with their tabletop characters.
Featuring a fully stocked character builder that will allow you to create your character in almost any likeness, as well as a 3D environment builder for your players to use, you can let your imagination run wild, and once done, you can use your VR headset to start living the game.
Dungeon Deep Dive allows you to take a first-person view of your character and physically do some of the actions that you would usually just say that they have done. Things like pulling back your bowstring to fire that poison arrow or swinging your giant mace towards the head of a beast are all doable through your VR headset and Dungeon Full Dive.
You are also able to throw your dice with a simple shake of your wrist.
The game doesn’t lock you out if you don’t have a VR headset though. Regular PC gamers are able to join in on the fun with PC/VR crossplay, and, with the magic of the internet, you can smash through your quests all from the comfort of your own homes.
Game Masters also have the ability to possess NPCs in the game to help raise the immersion level. With both players and the GM physically in the game, Dungeon Full Dive hopes to become the most immersive, digital TTRPG experience out there.
Dungeon Full Dive is set for launch on the 23rd of October. You can wishlist it over on Steam to stay updated and get notified of when the release happens, or you can pick up the demo to give it a spin.
