We all knew that Omni Man was eventually coming to Mortal Kombat 1; I mean, there have been images of him alongside Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander, Quan Chi and Takeda Takahashi out on the internet since before the game even launched. What we weren’t sure of, though, is how brutal his entrance would be.
The official launch trailer for Omni Man was just released, and we got a little taste of how bloody battles with Omni Man can get.
The brief one-minute clip shows off a few of his basic throws, dodges, and incredible speed, but the most exciting parts are his finishers.
The first, and probably most memorable from the Amazon Prime series, is when he attempts to turn his own son into paste on the side of a mountain. We also get to see the epic train finisher, another crazy scene that most would remember from the series. Of course, Mortal Kombat has added its own skull-crushing flair and the finishers are just as brutal as ever.
The Omni Man release is set for November, just in time for the show’s second series to air on Amazon Prime on the 3rd.
He comes bundled with the Tremoe Kameo character as well.
The other five playable characters and Kameo’s have no release dates just yet but should be launching between now and June next year.
