Blizzard just revealed during the latest Campfire Chat that they are about to roll out some significant changes to Diablo 4’s character classes, as well as tweaking how damage is calculated in the game.
Diablo 4 became Blizzard’s fastest-selling game and received critical acclaim at launch. However, public opinion soon changed after the Season 1 update, leaving much of the fanbase disappointed with the changes.
In response to the outcry, Blizzard hosted an emergency Campfire Chat where they addressed the community’s concerns and promised to write their wrongs in a future update, which is now happening.
The Campfire Chat revealed Blizzard’s primary areas of focus for Season 2 will be Elemental Resistance, Unique items, damage overhaul, and individual class improvements.
Diablo 4 Season of Blood will also give players a vampire hunter companion named Erys, who will aid them through the game. Players will also get access to new vampiric powers that can be obtained using the Pact Armor.
Season 2 will make it easier for players to reach level 100 by upping the experience gain after level 50, making progression roughly 40% faster.
