The Talos Principle 2 Releases a Hand-made Demo for Steam Next Fest

The Talos Principle is a theological puzzle game that combines the past with the future in stunning environments. With a 10/10 score on Steam, it’s no wonder that a second one has been announced.

The second iteration of the game will feature much of what people enjoyed in the first: a dive into a sci-fi world of philosophy and wonder while improving upon the gameplay, its puzzles and the environments.

Fans, blocks, lasers, and time manipulation, all staples from the first game, will feature in the second, alongside gravity manipulation and mind transference. The sequel will also have twelve new environments for players to puzzle through, unravelling a hidden past, forcing thought provocation and one’s chin to be scratched.

In light of Steam’s Next Fest, the development team, Croteam, have released a tailor-made demo that will have players tackle some of the puzzles from both the beginning and middle of the game, displaying how the world evolves as you work through it.

The full release is planned for the 2nd of November, but the demo is available to grab on Steam right now, and they have thrown in a sneaky 10% discount for pre-ordering the game. If you scroll just a little further, though, you’ll see a Talos Principle bundle that will give you the first game absolutely free with your pre-order.
