It’s no secret that Dave the Diver is one of our favourite games we’ve played this year. Now, the sushi restaurant managing indie RPG is gearing up to receive its first real content update, adding more diversity to dives, among other content.
The most significant new addition comes in the form of crabs and lobsters, which will require players to take traps down on dives in hopes of capturing one of these crustaceans.
There will also be some new quality-of-life features coming to the game, specifically for farming. After the update, players will no longer need to visit their farm constantly. Instead, they can ask Sammy to keep an eye on everything for them and get an egg storage box for your chickens to prevent spoilage and a feed dispenser to keep the chickens fed.
The glacier area will also be expanded with new story content, and night diving will be made more exciting with new fish that will only come out at night.
Finally, the update will also bring new VIP customers, wandering merchants and a new number in your phone for you to call.
But now we want to hear from you. Have you been playing Dave the Diver as much as we have? Let us know in the comments.
