The Lost Mine of Phandelver was first introduced as a Starter Set for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition in 2014. It was created for beginners and is a gateway and introduction for many into the Dungeons and Dragons.
Since 2022, this adventure has been available for players to download for free on DND Beyond; however, from tomorrow, that will no longer be the case and a new adventure, Intro to Stormwreck Isle, which acts like a prologue to the newly released Starter Set, Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, will be replacing it.
If players want to, they can still claim Lost Mine of Phandelver for free on DND Beyond, but they’ll need to do it before tomorrow.
Lost Mine of Phandelver will take players from level 1 to 5 and is filled with detailed NPCs and a plethora of sidequests to get new players used to the game.
The Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure can be downloaded by following the link here. The basic rules are also available from DND Beyond for free, so players looking to get started should jump on this before it gets replaced.
