CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 world is about to get a lot bigger with a live-action adaptation from a collaboration between CD Projekt Red and Anonymous Content, a company known for its work on True Detective.
The adaption is in the early stages of development, and they are currently looking for a screenwriter to come on board to help tell a brand-new story set in the game’s established universe.
However, that’s not the only way the cyberpunk universe plans to expand. It was also revealed that the company is planning a brand new Cyberpunk game, Orion.
According to CD Projekt Red, Orion will take the Cyberpunk franchise further and continue building the dark future of the franchise.
Orion will be developed by a new studio known as CD Projekt Red North America and is separate from The Molasses Flood, the studio that works on The Witcher and the base Cyberpunk 2077 game.
