If you’ll forgive me, I plan to wax poetic for a moment, and if you clicked on this post to get to the giveaway stuff, bare with me.
As an only child, I discovered my love for all things gaming very early on in life – probably earlier than most, if I’m being honest, because of a PC that my dad built for me before I was even old enough to read.
That was the spark that ignited a lifelong love, and when I was finally able to decipher letters and put them together to form words, my dad started buying the NAG magazine, hot off the press, for us to enjoy together.
Not only were those magazines a way for me to get excited about the latest and greatest in gaming and tech and a way to bond with my dad, but they also helped me not feel alone.
While my interests never quite seemed to align with other girls my age, they did align with all the fantastic writers who came together to share their passion and love with readers all across the country and with me, a little girl who desperately needed to read what they had to say.
I say all this because to me, writing for NAG and working on the NAG magazine that will be coming out again this December isn’t just a job – it’s my dream job and one I treasure, not only for me but for everyone else out there who had their lives forever changed by NAG just like I did.
That’s why I’m so excited to offer our loyal readers the chance to be featured in the upcoming NAG annual, and one lucky reader will receive a free pre-order of the magazine.
So, if you’d like to stand the chance to be featured in this epic magazine, here’s what you need to do:
To celebrate our OG readers, the ones who have been there from the start, we want you to send us a photo of any cool NAG swag you own. From merch to DVDs and Magazines – we want to see it all.
And then, for our other readers, who maybe don’t own anything physical but would still like the chance to be featured, drop us a comment or send us a shout-out letting us know what NAG means to you, and who knows, maybe your words make it to print.
Submissions can either be sent to us via email at hey@nag.co.za or via our Whatsapp number at +27 62 834 1919.
We’ll run this giveaway for two weeks and contact the winner the same way they contacted us.
Now, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you. Whether you’re an old-time reader or someone who’s just discovered us – none of this would be possible without your support, and for that, we’re all eternally grateful.
With that, game on and geek out – and send us those pics and comments!
