Netflix held its first-ever Drop-01 event, featuring a host of new animated series coming to the platform. Amongst others, we got a sneaky, one-minute teaser on the upcoming series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft.
Obviously, a teaser is designed to hype up the masses without giving away too much information, and I tell you what, the teaser does seem to want to take my breath away.
What we can tell is that the animation is very similarly designed after the latest series of games and that we’re definitely going to see Lara navigate some mythical-looking places inhabited by a mythical being or two.
We don’t yet have an air date for the series, but we do know that Agent Carter actress Hayley Atwell will voice Lara herself. Characters Jonah and Zip, who were featured in previous Tomb Raider games, will also be a part of the series and will be voiced by Earl Baylon and Allen Maldonado respectively.
In the meantime, get practising on your ledge shimmying and check out the teaser below.
