The Division 3 Quietly Announced in Ubisoft Press Release

While not announced in the most flashy of ways, it seems like Ubisoft is getting ready to start working on The Division 3.

In a press release that was sent out, Ubisoft announced that Julian Gerighty, the creative director for Star Wars: Outlaws, has now also been appointed the new executive producer of Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise.

The release states that Gerighty’s core focus was to build a team for The Division 3.

Since The Division 3 will also be handled by Massive Entertainment, who are currently inundated with Avatar: Pandora Frontiers and Star Wars: Outlaws, it makes sense that they would still be in the very early stages of The Division 3.

Alongside all his current projects and his new duty of building this team, Gerighty says he will ensure The Division 2 is still well supported and that he will be working on the mobile version of the game, The Division Resurgence, as well as the yet-to-be-released-officially, The Division: Heartland.

With so much on his plate, I wouldn’t be too surprised to hear that The Division 3 will only be coming our way around the 2025/2026 mark.

If you’re hotly awaiting The Division: Heartland, like myself, check out the developer gameplay overview below.
