Last month, during Gamescom, visitors could head to the Nintendo booth and play titles like Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Pikmin 4.
But behind closed doors, in a presentation held only for developers – things were far more exciting on the Nintendo front.
What was shown to developers in this super secret presentation? If the rumours are to be believed, Nintendo showed off the Nintendo Switch 2 and some tech demos to show off the console’s capabilities.
One of these demos was a pumped-up version of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, created specifically for the tech demo to push the new console’s specs.
As of now, Nintendo has yet to say anything publicly about the inevitable Switch successor. However, if they’re at the point of demoing the console to developers, one can only imagine an announcement sometime in 2024.
