Neil Druckmann has been quite the busy man as of late, considering he’s now the sole president at Naughty Dog. he’s working on a Lost of Us-themed Horror Nights attraction at Universal Studios, he’s assisting with the second season of The Last of Us TV show, and, apparently, he’s “working on another game”.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly on the site of the new TLOU attraction, Neil Druckmann was asked about a sequel to the popular game franchise The Last of Us 3. Neil jokingly responded, “My comms director over there will slaughter me” if he were to say anything relating to the game.
While this doesn’t exactly confirm that Naughty Dog is working on TLOU3, it would seem more likely that Druckmann would have just said no instead of avoiding answering the question.
In the meantime, the team is hard at work getting the second season ready for TV. Season two has been completely mapped out, and the first episode has been submitted to HBO, however, the filming will probably be delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike underway.
What do you think about Druckmann’s words? Could he be hinting at a new TLOU, or are Naughty Dog working on something completely different? Let us know in the comments.
