Sparkle releases the fastest ARC A770 Graphics card on the market

Two months ago, Intel stopped taking orders for their ARC A770 16GB Limited Edition graphics card. True to the name, it was a limited production run and going forward it will be their partners producing graphics cards based on the Alchemist GPU.

We’ve seen several offerings to date from the major manufactures, including ASRock, GIGABYTE, MSI and others. However, Sparkle has upped the anti with their TITAN OC model. It features the highest GPU clock frequency of all, operating at a healthy 2,300MHz. 200MHz higher than the Intel Limited Edition model and 100MHz higher than the ASRock Phantom Gaming card.

How much of a performance difference this increased clock frequency makes is anyone’s guess. Compared to the ASRock model operating at 2,4GHz, the TITAN OC should be even faster.

As with other models, Sparkle leaves the GDDR6 operating frequency at 17.5Gbps. Given the 18Gbps specification of the ICs, it’s a lost opportunity for further performance improvements. For resolutions lower than 4K, however, this will not be a problem as 560GB/s of memory bandwidth is plenty as is.

Unfortunately, there’s no sign of the ARC A770 TITAN OC edition making it to our shores. That may change in the future though, as Amazon is presently shipping the ARC A750 TITAN OC to South Africa.
