In a surprise reveal this morning, GuliKit, a company that made a name for itself by making the Hall Effect joysticks for the Nintendo Switch, has taken to Gamescom 2023 to reveal some new and exciting products in the pipeline.
The stand out is a docking station that will work with most handheld devices such as the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and the Asus ROG Ally.
GuliKit has not revealed an official name for the device, predicted cost, or a release date. Still, it’s just cool enough for me to keep an eye out for going forward.

In the Tweet revealing the product for those of us outside of Gamescom 2023, we can see some photos of the device. Its appearance pulls some significant similarities to the original Super Nintendo Entertainment System, with the top of the device sliding open to dock whichever device.
The photos show the docking station’s ear featuring an assortment of ports, such as an Ethernet, 1 HDMI (4K 60HZ video output), three USB 3.0 ports, and an AC adapter. However, we can’t see where the USB-C port is located.
