Nice guy Microsoft has decided we’re all on the good list this year and supplied us with a brand new way to customise our Xbox Series X consoles.
Xbox Design Lab already offers several personalisation options for Xbox Series X|S controllers, yet, until now, players have had very little control over the console itself.
Enter console wraps. These are designed for the Xbox Series X to change the console’s look while ensuring cooling performance remains unaffected.

The wrap consists of solid core panels with high-tech fabric finishes and hook and loop fasteners to secure the wrap onto the console. Velcro… the wrap attaches with Velcro…
This year, we are seeing the release of a white wrap, themed after Bethesda’s highly anticipated Starfield game being the first.
The Starfield wrap will go on sale on the 18th of October and retail for roughly R950 a wrap. Depending on the success of the Starfield wrap, Microsoft will likely be creating more console wraps themed after other Xbox games soon.
Will you grab a wrap for your console, or are you happy with the original look and feel? Let us know in the comments.
