There is something so appealing about physical game collections, especially old games, which many of us remember fondly from our childhoods.
Over the weekend, a PlayStation super fan took to Reddit to show off their super impressive collection of PlayStation 1 games – and not only is it awesome to look at, but it’s also a complete collection of all the PS1 PAL-region games.
For those young enough not to remember, the PS1 was a disc-based console responsible for many falling in love with gaming for the first time. It was also the first significant introduction of 3D gaming.
The collection showcased the start of many games that would become iconic franchises we still love and enjoy today, like the first Tomb Raider game and Crash Bandicoot, among others.

A collection like this is truly remarkable and holds value aside from just in re-sale. We recently covered a study that showed roughly 87% of all retro games are close to being lost to time.
To Sony’s credit, they have been adding more and more beloved classic games to PS Plus Premium, giving subscribers access to many PS1 games.
However, there are still loads of games only available on the original hardware, highlighting the growing concern that the history of gaming might soon be forgotten if not for collections like the above.
Do you still own any PS1 games? Let us know in the comments.
