It’s Friday again, and not only is it time to switch off from work and change into your comfy pants, but it’s also time to download the free Epic Games Store games to your libraries; you’re welcome for the reminder – we aim to please.
For those of you who only got access to the internet yesterday, every Thursday and sometimes Friday, Epic Games makes a new game, or sometimes when you’re fortunate, two games are available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free.
All gamers need to do to grab this gift from the gods for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game or games on offer and add it to their library. Whatever you’ve redeemed is then yours to keep, to play or to add to an ever-growing list of games you mean to play but probably never will.
This week, Epic is once again offering two free games. Black Book and Dodo Peak, both of which are available from today until the 24th for you to go and redeem.
Black Book
[Get It Here]
Black Book is a dark RPG Adventure game strongly inspired by Slavic myths. Players will take n the role of a young sorceress. They will be tasked with taking on the forces of evil in epic card-based battles while also exploring the world to uncover all its secrets.
Players will spend time collecting spells cards and unlocking new skills as they progress through the game. They must also solve riddles and complete side-quests to learn more about the world.
Dodo Peak
[Get It Here]
Dodo Peak is a fun throwback to the days of classic arcade platformers but with a distinctly modern twist. Players will take on the role of a dodo bird that needs to find and rescue its babies from the tops of some perilous peaks.
Players must lead the baby dodo’s home while avoiding obstacles and enemies that stand in their way. Players will also be collecting coins, dodging snakes and grabbing powerups to increase their chances of surviving the challenges they will face.
If either of these two games sounds like something you want to play, remember to head over to the Epic Games Store and add the games to your library before the 24th of August to make sure you have them to play whenever you want.
