Papers, Please Celebrates 10th Anniversary With A Retro LCD Game

Ten years ago, Papers, Please was first released, introducing players around the world to a single-player experience in which players must check the papers of immigrants to a fictional Eastern bloc country and determine whether or not to let them in, leading to hard decisions and heart-wrenching consequences.

The game quickly became a cult classic and has sold over five million copies in the last ten years. To celebrate the game’s anniversary, developer Lucas Pope has released some cool stuff for fans and contributed to those suffering in real life.

As part of the game’s anniversary, fans can pick up merchandise from the official website, such as mugs, shirts, and game posts.

Fans will also be able to pick up the OST on either Spotify or Apple Music, and to top it all off, there is now a demake of the game in the style of old LCD handhelds.

The developers have also made a $100k donation to the International Rescue Committee to help those affected by conflict and disaster.
