Earlier in the week, we covered the unexpected news that Street Fight 6 would be collaborating with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to bring a collection of Turtle-themed skins to the street fighting game.
The reaction on social media to this news was instantly positive, with many wanting nothing more than to play through the game dressed as their favourite Turtle. However, the excitement faded as soon as the cost of the skins was revealed.
Many fans have bulked at the fact that the individual TMNT skins will cost a cool $15 or R284 each, meaning if you wanted the complete set, you’d be paying R1136 – roughly the same as buying the entire Street Fighter 6 game again.
The price of these skins is made even more upsetting by the fact that these can only be used in World Tour mode and online Avatar Battles and cannot be equipped when playing any of the established Street Fighter 6 characters.

Considering that these are avatar costumes and no more, it would have made more sense for all of them to be bundled together instead of being sold individually for R284.
Currently, Capcom is ignoring the outrage, and the price seems unlikely to change anytime soon.
Hopefully, this pricing structure gets reworked because many collaborations and DLC characters are heading to Street Fighter 6 soon. It would be ridiculous if each new content set cost the same as the game.
What are your thoughts on the price? Let me know in the comments.
