THQ Nordic has just revealed the Collector’s Edition for the upcoming Alone in the Dark remake, and it’s just as creepy as you’d want it to be.
If you don’t already know, the upcoming Alone in the Dark remake is the return of one of the horror genre’s most famous franchises. It will feature an original story and a new look for the current generation.
Set in the 1920s, Alone in the Dark remake follows Emily Hartwood, a young woman searching for her missing uncle with the help of private investigator Edward Carnby. Players will explore the American Gothic South and fight to survive, all while trying to discover the secrets of the Derceto mansion.
Now, the Alone in the Dark Collector’s Edition has been revealed, and it comes with either a console or PC copy of the game, a 10-inch statue of The Dark Man and a 4-inch miniature of Ostadte.
Also in the bundle is a SteelBook, a do not disturb sign for your door, a set of Derceto 1930 wall stickers, and downloadable content.
The downloadable content will include the Derceto 1992 Costume Pack, Director’s Commentary Mode, and Vintage Horror Filter Pack.
The Collect’s Edition will be a limited run with only 5,000 copies sold worldwide, with copies 1 through 20 available exclusively from the THQ Nordic Vienna Store and copy 5,000 delivered to the Embracer Games Archive, a game preservation archive based in Sweden.
Alone in the Dark launches on October 25 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Will you be trying your luck at picking up the Collector’s Edition? Let us know in the comments.
