Sea of Stars is a retro-inspired, turn-based RPG that looks like an old-school gamer’s dream. The pixel art looks amazing and the team seems to have cracked that perfect mix of modern and classic. You can bet that I’ll be playing it at least once when it releases on the 29th of August.
However, besides all the fancy artwork and cool-looking gameplay Sea of Stars may have cracked something a little more remarkable for the casual gamer like you or me.
This game might be the first game ever to be released on both Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus at the same time. You heard me, no matter what subscription service you’re signed up for, you’ll be able to dive right into the Sea of Stars on launch day.
If that does not excite you already, give the Sea of Stars trailer a watch and when you’re satisfied that it’s an absolute stunner, go grab the demo on every platform as well, just to test which one you want to play the game on.
The demo is available on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch right this very second.
