Caper Cards: Bells Hells, A New Card Game Announced By Critical Role

Critical Role, everyone’s favourite group of Dungeons and Dragons players, have just gone ahead and announced Caper Cards: Bells Hells.

At its core, Caper Cards: Bells Hells is a heist-based card game inspired by the Bells Hells–the Dungeons and Dragons party for Critical Role Campaign 3.

The game will focus on the heist of the Twilight Mirror Museum and will feature the cast of beloved and colourful characters viewers got to know and love during Campaign 3.

According to Critical Role, the new card game will be a quick, fun cooperative card game for players to reach for and will be able to purchase later this year.

The game will play very much like blackjack but with special rules and powers and has players try to collect as much treasure as possible without breaking 21.

As mentioned above, Caper Cards: Bells Hells will feature the main cast of the Campaign as well as Dorian, a long-term Critical Role guest character played by Robbie Daymond.

As in the show, each Crew member will have special powers and each card features stylised, original art of the characters.

Caper Cards: Bells Hells is meant to be a quick and easy game, with rounds lasting about 20-odd minutes and can be played alone or with up to four players.

While the game is undoubtedly themed after Critical Role, because there isn’t any story tied to it, it can be enjoyed regardless of your familiarity with the show or characters.
