Bethesda Releases a Short Animated Trilogy for Starfield

Starfield is due to launch on the 6th of September, that’s just 42 days from now, or if you convert that into light years, just 42 light days from now!

In hopes of getting more people onto the hype rocket before launch, Bethesda Studios have launched a short, animated series of trailers to give us a peak into some of the main inhabited areas of the game.

The first video, Supra Et Ultra, features a courier who lands on New Atlantis and finds himself longing for a life there. He signs up for the Vanguard and his life takes a dramatic and exciting turn, perhaps too exciting for him to actually want to spend his time on New Atlantis after all.

The second, Where Hope is Built, takes place on Akila, an outer world that has been involved in a few colony wars. A young star-seeker attempts to get their ship working but fails to find a broken part, embracing the values of her parents, she takes her destiny into her own hands and finds that hope can be found in all places.

The third of the animated trailers, The Hand that Feeds, takes place on Neon, where the wealthy go to let loose and enjoy certain pleasures from the galaxy. We get a glimpse at a bit of the criminal underworld here and how some decisions may benefit one in terms of wealth and power, but the losses felt later could be greater.

I’ll say one thing, these trailers have certainly got me even more excited for Starfield, I just hope it can live up to all the hype.
