High on Life Get’s Shadow Launched on to PlayStation

High on Life, the wacky first-person shooter where your guns talk back to you, has been an Xbox Exclusive since it was released.

Well at Comic-Con San Diego this past weekend, the devs surprise launched it onto PlayStation consoles and you can grab it right now, for just under what a AAA would normally cost you at R1,069. High on Life is available to play on Xbox Game Pass, but it doesn’t seem like you’ll be able to get the same benefit on PlayStation as it’s not on the PlayStation Plus catalogue.

Usually, a game like this being ported over to another ecosystem would see a lot more marketing, but I suppose the High on Life team have stuck to their out-of-the-box ways and has decided that a surprise launch would be the way to do it.

The previously teased DLC for the game, High on Knife, is expected to launch across both the Xbox and PlayStation platforms at the same time. the DLC takes place a couple of years after the original game and it starts off with a mysterious parcel being delivered to Knifey. Squanch Games CEO says “Don’t ask how or why Knifey is getting mail. It’s mysterious for a reason.”. The DLC will also feature two new guns, voiced by Sarah Sherman and Alex Robbins.

Check out the PlayStation Launch Trailer below and let us know if you’ll be picking up the game now that it’s on the Playstation Store.
