Spider-Man 2 releases on the 20th of October and it’s available for pre-order right now, but Sony has just released something that might even bring Uncle Ben back to life.
A limited edition Spider-Man 2 Symbiote PlayStation 5 and matching Dual Sense Controller bundle will be available for pre-order from the 28th of July and man oh man does it look stunning.
The design imitates the symbiotic relationship between Spider-Man and his symbiote suit. You can see the symbiote aggressively taking over the classic red on the front cover, while the back cover has already been completely taken over. The controller features the same design with most of the controller already being taken over by the symbiote side.
For those who already own a PS5, the cover plates and the Dual Sense Controller will also be sold separately starting from the 1st of September.
The PS5 bundle will be a disc version of the PS5 and includes a digital copy of the Spider-Man 2 game, but will only be redeemable on the game’s release day, the 20th of October. You will still get all the pre-order incentives, such as an early unlock Arachknight Suit for Peter with 3 additional colour variants, an early unlock Shadow Spider Suit for Miles with 3 additional colour variants, an early unlock Web Grabber gadget, and 3 skill points.
