A few devs from AAA companies have decided to start their own studio and design games for Fortnite. That’s right, AAA quality game developers are going to be making creative games that you play inside of Fortnite.
Alex Seropian, the co-founder of Bungie along with Patrick Moran from Disney, and some other developers that hail from EA and Amazon, have teamed up to form the studio Look North World.
Using the Unreal Editor in Fortnite, the studio’s main focus is on creating community approved game modes that you’ll play inside the battle royale game. They have a Discord server where they will discuss the game modes being developed and gather feedback from the actual players on how to shape and mould their work.
The team at Look North World have already released their first game mode called ‘Outlaw Corral’ where players take each other on 1v1 in a tournament style, knockout bracket consisting of 15 other shooters.

Murcielago, a second game mode that they’re working on, is still in development, but it seems like they’ll be churning them out quite quickly.
