The PlayStation Access Controller is Sony’s most customisable controller to date and was designed to grant those with accessibility problems the joy of playing on the console with a controller that actually fits their needs.
Sony announced that pre-orders will open on the 21st of July and the controller is expected to launch globally on the 6th of December this year. You can hop on to the PlayStation website and register your email to be updated as soon as the pre-orders open.
Both the joystick and the buttons are swappable so you can have the perfect combination of buttons in certain positions and a joystick for easy control. The controller can also be positioned at any angle and there are four expansion slots for specialised buttons and inputs.
The MSRP is $89.99, so we should see it around the R2,000 price range.
