Starfield Reveals Recommended PC Specs For AMD Users

The official PC spec recommendations for Starfield have just been revealed, which means that AMD users can now see what hardware they will need to fully enjoy everything Starfield offers when the game releases in September.

Last month, AMD announced that it would be the exclusive partner for the PC version of Starfield and that the game was designed with AMD GPUs like the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT and AMD Radeon RX 6800 Series in mind.

Starfield was first announced in 2018 and will see players become fully customisable space explorers and explore a galaxy of over 1,000 realistic scaled and procedurally-generated planets.

With everything that we’ve seen so far, Starfield looks to be an incredibly ambitious game. While Starfield will be locked to 30 FPS on Xbox consoles, PC owners will have no limitation – provided they’re running the recommended AMD hardware.

The recommended specs are categorised under three categories:

  • Legendary will let players experience Starfield in full 4K resolution and will require an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT.
  • Epic will offer 1440p with high FPS and will need an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X and AMD Radeon RX 6800 Series.
  • Heroic supports 1080p through the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 and AMD Radeon RX 7600.

Starfield is set to launch on the 6th of September for PC and Xbox Series X.
