Hot off the heels of the newest season of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War comes the announcement that the beloved supernatural sword-fighting anime is getting a brand new video game that looks pretty cool.
Named Bleach: Soul Resonance, the game is set to be a 3D-action role-playing experience that plays very much like the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series.
According to the Bleach: Soul Resonance website, players will be in for a low-latency combat experience with weapons and swords while engaging in strategic battles with familiar faces.
The last official Bleach game was Bleach: Soul Resurrección in 2011, so Bleach: Soul Resonance is long overdue. Bleach: Soul Resonance is being published by Nuverse, the company that recently brought out Marvel Snap, and is still in development.
From what we can gather from the trailer, Bleach: Soul Resonance appears to be following the show’s Soul Society and Hueco Mundo arcs, the anime’s first two significant storylines.
So far, Bleach: Soul Resonance looks like it nails the big-fight feel from the anime, and it’s a game we can’t wait to try whenever it releases.
