RedMagic, a sub-brand of ZTE’s Nubia, has unveiled its first-ever entry into the gaming tablet world. Revealed on the official Nubia website, the RedMagic Gaming Tablet has some pretty impressive specs.
The RedMagic Gaming Tablet features the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 with 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB UFS 3.1 flash storage.
According to the website’s description, the tablet also includes a cooling system that should reduce device temperatures by up to 5°C under sustained load.
The RedMagic Gaming Tablet has a 12.1-inch IPS display that resolves at 2,560 x 1,600 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio. This display can operate at a 144 Hz refresh rate with 600 nits peak brightness and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.

If everything else wasn’t enough to put the RedMagic Gaming Tablet on your radar, the tablet has a 10,000 mAh battery, which can go from empty to full in under an hour thanks to 80W wired charging.
And for those looking to use the tablet for more than just playing games but also some streaming, the RedMagic Gaming Tablet has a 16 MP front-facing and 13 MP rear-facing camera, four speakers and an optional keyboard case, among other accessories.
The RedMagic Gaming Tablet weighs 613 grams and has a thickness of 6.5 mm. Currently, the tablet has only been announced for China and will retail there for roughly $637 or R12,010.
