Looking For Free Games? Steam Will Give You Six Free Games

Six Free Games on Steam Right Now

If you’re a PC gamer looking for something new to play without having to go and fetch your bank card from the safe haven of your wallet, Steam is offering users six free games to download and enjoy.

The six games on offer span multiple genres, from tower defence to first-person shooters, and even if they don’t look like something you’d pay money to try, they are free, giving them brownie points already.

Now, if you’re used to reading my weekly post about Epic Games Stire game giveaways, I will need you to chill out and calm down.

Unlike Epic, Steam doesn’t make a habit of giving away AAA titles; however, what they have on offer is a collection of hidden gem indie titles with great user ratings, which can be just as exciting.

Now without further ado, here are the six free games you can download and play right now, for free, on Steam:

Doomsday: Last Survivors

Doomsday: Last Survivors is a zombie survival game with multiplayer online competition and real-time strategy elements.

The game is set in a near future where zombies have taken over the world, and survivors must fight for their lives and humanity’s future.

Players playing as the Commander must lead fellow survivors to build their Shelter, explore fog-filled areas, and fight the zombies and rival factions.

Dust and Aliens

Dust and Aliens is a Fast FPS Roguelite set in a futuristic western universe, where the player takes on the role of a cowboy who must battle waves of aliens in different arenas.

The game’s goal is to advance through the various arenas to get the highest score possible, then use this score to buy upgrades, and try to get as far as possible to defeat the game’s final boss.

Monsters Domain Prologue

If you’ve ever wanted to play Monsters Domain, Monsters Domain Prologue is where you should start your adventure in the domain of monsters.

The prologue version is a shortened version of the whole game where players can learn about the main game mechanics while trying to command an army and defeat the first boss.

The game’s objective is to stop visitors to the Monsters’ Domain. Players will start with simple monsters and skeletons and, with time, build up defences.

Spiritle

Spiritle is a four-player turn-based strategic battle digital board game. Players incarnate a Spirit among the four elements: Nature, Earth, Water and Fire.

At the rhythm of the four seasons, the fallen Souls challenge each other to regain their place in the World Tree.

In this enchanting cross-platform pairing game, open and pair similar lands to Attack and defeat other Players to win the party.

Soccer Kids Alpha

Soccer Kids is a tactical, turn-based sports game where players control a teenage mathematical savant, guiding his friends on a quest to win the local street soccer tournament.

The game is set in Poland in the 90s, when the country transitioned from a socialist republic to a democracy with a free market.

It focuses on the latchkey kids of this period, who fell in love with the new cultural influence worldwide.

Swelter

Swelter is a story-driven modification for Half-Life 2, with events occurring a few years before Gordon Freeman’s arrival in City-17.

The summer sun had been heating the lands of Central Asia long before the Combine’s appearance.

Still, in recent days, the heat has arisen from another source. A series of armed riots in City 545 has spurred scattered resistance groups to unite towards the goal of liberation from the aliens.

However, only a unique individual can resolve the contradictions among these would-be allies.

Having travelled from afar, a representative of the lambda resistance’s secret agents disembarks from a train at just the right moment.

If any of these games excite you, head to Steam and add them to your library today. And go!
