Epic Games Store Is Bringing Free Games To Your Weekend

And just like that, we’re back to Friday again and not only is it time to pack away that work laptop and change into your comfy pants, but it’s also time to download the free Epic Games Store games to your libraries, you’re welcome for the reminder – we aim to please.

For those of you who only got access to the internet yesterday, every Thursday and sometimes Friday, Epic Games makes a new game, or sometimes when you’re fortunate, two games are available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free.

All gamers need to do to grab this gift from the gods for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game or games on offer and add it to their library. Whatever you’ve redeemed is then yours to keep, to play or to add to an ever-growing list of games you mean to play but probably never will.

This week, Epic is once again offering two free games. Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms and theHunter: Call of the Wild is available from today until the 29th for you to go and redeem.

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is a Dungeons & Dragons strategy management game featuring characters from the Dungeons & Dragons multiverse and uniting them in one grand adventure.

In this single-player adventure, players unlock champions across Dungeons & Dragons novels, adventures, and even popular live streams like Acquisitions Incorporated.

Players will need to master each Champion’s formation abilities to complete adventures based on official Dungeons & Dragons books like Wild Beyond the Witchlight, Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus, and Curse of Strahd.

theHunter: Call of the Wild is an atmospheric hunting game known for its realistic and visually breathtaking open world. Players can immerse themselves in the atmospheric single-player campaign or share the ultimate hunting experience with friends.

Players in theHunter: Call of the Wild will get to create their own Hunting experience, with a wide range of options, stretching from rifles to bows, each with different types of ammunition and suited for different-sized animals. The game also features various callers and scents to lure targets and set up the perfect spot to line up the shot.

The game also offers unique multiplayer options, several in-game challenges, and frequent hunting events for a party to take on together.

If either of these two games sounds like something you want to experience, remember to head over to the Epic Games Store and add the games to your library before the 29th of June to make sure you have them in your library to play whenever you want.
