In the latest episode of ‘everyone against Microsoft acquiring ActiBlizz’, Sony’s Jim Ryan has said that they would have to keep information regarding it’s latest hardware, ie the PS6, from Activision if it were to go over to the green side.
In an FTC v MS/ABK deposition, PlayStation chief Jim Ryan said that, if deal closes, Sony couldn't tell Activision about its next console
Is then asked about Sony working with Mojang (Minecraft) after MS bought them. Discussion is redacted but Ryan says it supports this concern pic.twitter.com/M86CBm3CcY

In the Tweet we can see Jim Ryan being questioned about how previous work with Activision has helped to develop some of the features on the PS5 and that once Microsoft were to acquire Activision, Sony would not be able to share hardware information with Activision. This would be a determinant to gamers on more than one front. 1. Ideas between a game development company and Sony would not be shared, meaning a potential loss of new features and 2. A game development company not being able to develop games that fully utilise new features to help make a better gaming experience.
There is also some redacted questioning revolving around Mojang and Microsoft, which seems to support Jim’s case on sharing hardware information with their direct competitor.
If Sony really will be forced to withhold any information, or if Sony is just trying to keep Microsoft from getting Activision is still up for debate, but it seems like this Activision acquisition is not in favour of Microsoft.
