If you thought showcase season was over, I’m here to tell you that you thought wrong. Nintendo is adding their share for this month’s revelry of reveals, and it’s happening today at 4PM, that’s 16h00 for us 24-hour-clock people.
As always, we can only make wild guesses for what will be on display at these showcases, but what Nintendo has confirmed is that it will be 40 minutes long and will feature titles for the Switch planned for release in 2023. Oh, and Pikmin 4.
These Direct events usually feature quite a few indie titles as well, and the Switch is one of the best consoles for indie titles, so I’m excited to see what they have on offer. I predict a little Sea of Stars again; it’s been in every other showcase so far.
Of course, everyone will keep their fingers crossed for some Hollow Knight Silksong news. Hopefully, a release date? Maybe.
We could see some Mario news, Mario Odyssey was released the same year as Breath of the Wild and considering we just got some Tears of the Kingdom, perhaps Nintendo have another open-world plumbing game hiding up their sleeves.
