Avowed Team Has Good News About Graphics And Bugs

After Summer Game Fest, many gamers and fans of Pillars of Eternity were left excited after the reveal of the upcoming game, Avowed. However, the reveal wasn’t entirely without fault.

For those who don’t know, Avowed is a game set in the same universe and world as Pillars of Eternity and will see players take on a perilous journey to the Living Lands, a mystical island full of strange plants and beasts and a location of unknown interest to the Aedyran Empire.

The game will let players create their character, much like in Pillars of Eternity. However, unlike the top-down view players have been used to, Avowed will be players in the first person, allowing for a more dynamic and immersive experience.

However, the one part o the game that left many gamers with a sour taste in their mouths was the graphics, which didn’t match up with the epic scope of the promised game.

Now, one of the game developers has said that players don’t need to worry as the team is currently working on fixing the game’s lighting and art. The team in question is Obsidian Entertainment, who have other games like Knights of the Old Republic II and Fallout: New Vegas under their belt already.

The developers also stated that Avowed would have the Alpha and Beta stage of any Obsidian title, giving the team plenty of time to ensure that it will do so free of bugs when the game releases.

Avowed is set for a 2024 release date for PC and Xbox Series X/S .
