For everyone who used the excuse “Elden Ring looks like a kak game because I can’t play as a robot”, your excuse is about to expire. From Software have been teasing us with Armored Core VI trailers and announcements for a while now and it looks like they’ve now given us a little sneak-peak at gameplay.
In the quick video we get a glance at the garage where we are able to customise our mechs with different weapons and loadouts. They equip a different set of legs on the mech which allows for a speedier, but less tanky build.
We also get to see a little bit of personalisation done to the mech where a racey orange flair gets added.
After a bit of kitting out we get a little taste of the mech fighting a mini-boss and then an even bigger big boss.
The fighting looks quick and slick and we will definitely be needing to have our booster fingers all warmed up as it seems we’ll be boosting around quite a bit. The game still has that From Software vibe where if you take a hit, you’re going down and you’re going down hard.
I do enjoy that the mech is forced to use a combination of all their tools to take the enemies out though, it means that everything you put into your build is going to need to make sense, no willy-nilly missiles strapped to your back because you think they look cool.
What do you think about the little gameplay sneak peak? Does it get you hot under the boosters? Let us know in the comments below.
